The Official Game Awards After Party presented by YouTube Gaming transformed the Conga Room in Los Angeles. Guests embarked on a journey through a series of iconic game play environments, and Ancient YouTube ruins. From the moment attendees entered the party, a world rich in sights and sounds surrounded them. Natural and scenic elements mixed together to bring the first person game play experience to life.

  • YouTube Gaming Ruins
    ‍

The entrance into the Conga Room was an opportunity to set a tone of discovery and wonder that would carry on for the rest of the evening. We placed large boulders, some over 12 feet tall and countless types of greenery through-out the passage creating an overgrown walkway for guests to begin their journey. Before stepping into the venue, guests would walk under an archway which was designed to look like a large piece of stone built thousands of years ago which in time had been over taken with moss and vines.
  • Stage Design
    ‍‍

The concept for the stage was based on the idea of a shipping crate getting lost in the middle of the jungle, only to be forgotten and overgrown with greenery in the passing years. The design was a blend between the natural and digital. Foliage enveloped the DJ Booth and vertical LED panels emerged out of the ground as if they had become one with the jungle floor.
  • Swag Bazaar

After guests mingled and received their drinks at the Health Bar, they would then walk towards the Swag Bazaar. The interior took inspiration from Moroccan bazaars and iconic game play environments such as Uncharted. The space became an intimate spot for guests to engage in conversation away from the live music in the main room.

Devcon is the Ethereum conference for developers, researchers, thinkers, and makers held annually. Production Club teamed up with the Ethereum Foundation in Osaka, Japan to create an experience that was not only holistic to the core values of the foundation but also captivating and memorable to the attendees.

  • Keynote Stage Design
    ‍

The approach for the Keynote stage was based off the idea of emergence. The Ethereum shard on stage appeared as if the large structures were growing from the ground. We implemented the technique of repetition and scale to create scenic elements which started with a wire frame structure ultimately evolving into a solid form all outlined in LED.
  • Decompression Room | Night Shade

Inspired by the practice of shinrin-yoku, which means "taking in the forest," this space is filled with natural elements washed in gradients of color. Soft seating throughout invites attendees to unplug while enjoying a soundtrack of ambient music.
